I was 1/3 on DD but got FJ. I have always said, were I to get on the game, that I would use the local name, like Rapa Nui or the Hellenic Republic. This Final, I wonder if they would give it to me if I said “Las Islas Malvinas”. I also thought, “What is Las Islas Malvinas (the Falkland Islands)?”

    Just a thought.

Didn’t watch, but it appears Ashley tanked from the get-go.
FJ pretty obvious, as was the US-Canada quintet.
2nd DD not impossible; maybe one of the others knew it.
Can’t believe no one knew the Vermont statue guy.
I believe I may have seen General Grant and/or Sherman in long-ago times.

  3. Rick says:

Ashley just wasn’t as sharp tonight as she came up with a slew of incorrect responses. As for the FJ, it was without question a dead giveaway.

  4. Ismael Gomez says:

All 3 DDs were missed resulted our seventh skunking. I am sure William Weyser will say darn those daily doubles to the contestants.
