They were all weak players. Are their no smart people left in America?
The few smart people left in America can, for the most part, differentiate among there, their and they’re.
Didn’t air here till 1020 pm. Not a great game. Tons of stumpers, and Ashley was too fast and smart for the guys. Final too tough for me.
I was shocked when Ashley fanned on the first DD. I could think of only one famous mountain in what is now Turkey/Armenia. Wow. John Reith clue with “knighted” was mostly a giveaway. Broke my heart when no one knew the famed “West Side Story” songwriter (actually the lyricist that time). Probably only a real baseball fan would know the Pittsburgh (not Pittsburg) stadium. Word on the street and from people I know is that the new one is the best in the business.
It was another good game overall, and I did a little better than average. As for the FJ, that was a tough one.
For the third Monday in a row in December, Final Jeopardy has been a triple stumper. It seems like we can’t catch a break at all. This is the 23rd triple stumper in FJ! this season.
That’s why we are having the curse of Monday thanks to that pesky geography clue.
1 of these days, we’ll catch a break. This just isn’t it.
