Thanks for the recap. I’ve been getting caught up on my backlog of Jeopardy games on the DVR and on this one the crucial last seconds were missing because they broke in with a special report to tell me that Doug Jones won the Senate race in Alabama, despite the fact that the show I was taping was airing in California. Thus I didn’t know who finished first or if anybody got the FJ question (other than myself)!
I’m glad LaKedra won. She seems like a nice person and she’s a really knowledgeable player. I hope she makes it (or rather has made it) to the $100,000 minimum to come back for the Tournament of Champions.
I love Jeopardy and try to watch daily.. it’s the best show.
I’m not sure if Dunkerque is a generational question or not. Once part of Flanders, they think of the Belgian coast. In fact it only is 6-plus miles from the Belgian border/frontier. Anyway, a triple miss.

Dunkirk is one of my favorite movies but I’m surprised no one got this. Furthermore , does this movie remind you of the second world war, VJ? Also which war movies did you like the most? I’m guessing the contestants don’t know much about the second world war.
@Lou, I actually learned the location of Dunkirk before I learned about its war connections. When I was 12, I had a pen pal who lived in Lille, about an hour away from there. There are other places around there that also have the -“kerque” ending. But, anyhow, as was mentioned earlier, there was a similar clue 2 years ago in the Alex/Matt/Kerry ToC. That one went 1/3. It was about Kierkegaard and how his name means “churchyard”

Ah yes I remember that clue. I look foward to seeing the photos of the french stew, it looks so good. Beef stew is one of my favorite foods and it has been since childhood. I think Lakedra has a good chance to extend her run if she keeps winning. Furthermore, I can see that she is following a similar pattern that kyle did during his four game run. We shall see how well she does tomorrow because there was another former champion also from Louisiana that won four games back in 2016. Also do you still keep in touch with your pen pal in Lille, Vj? And oh happy holidays to you as well.

@Dalton, LaKedra did get all the clues right in the Holiday Songs but do they really count it as a category run if someone else rang in first? Even though he got it wrong, Ian rang in first on the “you better watch out.”
