Loved that FJ clue, mostly because I figured out both words about halfway through the music.
I think that only 1 of the 2 quotes should have been required. Getting both is toooo hard.
Second triple stumper in a row that everyone didn’t get. Surely the contestants must have heard of Dustin Hoffman and many of his quotes. I used to have a vhs video of Citizen Kane but I am not sure where it is now. Anyway congrats to Ellen. Although I am not certain if she can build a streak but we will see.
Alex said it was a tough clue even before he read it, so I don’t think he expected anyone to get it. I gotta say I’ve seen “The Graduate” twice. Once when I was a teenager and about 20 something years later, and I don’t see anything remotely memorable or funny about that line. It makes no sense out of context. Besides, I like movie and TV quotes that you can pop out with in everyday life when an opportune occasion arises….
What did I ever do to make you treat me so disrespectfully?
or that you can adapt…
Go ahead… Make my popcorn!
Anyhow here’s a link to a poll of one-word movie quotes on IMDB — it’s still open but right now:
“Rosebud” got 812 votes (and it’s not No. 1 at this time)
“Plastics” got 90 votes

I had a bad feeling when I saw that lynx clue, VJ, that definitely calls for a “horrified” emoticon!
yeah, Rhonda, wow! wikipedia’s article on the Canada lynx has a rather oddly worded subheading — “relationship with the snowshoe hare” – the first sentence describes the lynx as a “specialist predator” OMG!
Yikes, VJ!!!! Better keep to my burrow!!
