The above video will give you an idea of what it’s like to skate to your destination on the Rideau Canal. The Canal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. It is “a monumental early 19th-century construction covering 202 km [125.517 miles] of the Rideau and Cataraqui rivers from Ottawa south to Kingston Harbour on Lake Ontario.” Its original raison d’etre was military– to assist Great Britain in its fight with the USA for control of Canada. It is also the only early 19th century North American canal still in operation along its original line. Learn more on UNESCO’s website.

  1. VJ says:

Amy and Genesis were offered a free trip to Winterlude 2022 for not knowing Final Jeopardy! 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Richard Corliss says:

    Go, Amy! GO, GO, GO!!!

  3. Howard says:

Yikes, Matt started out like a house afire in that football category. But then the house went down in flames. He must have come close to the worst score ever.

Killer Final and I knew only 3 of the stumpers. Leslie King question; Boys Town priest; river opposite Council Bluffs.

Amy’s per-game average is about the same as Ken’s eventual average, around $34K.

  4. Rick says:

I went with Oslo for the final question, but that sure didn’t pan out. Oh well!

  5. rhonda says:

VJ, we had our favorite football player and Bugs Bunny with his proper pronunciation of “toining” as an added plus tonight. And the other day we had a whole category devoted to my relatives. As for dear Joe, I believe he has joined the other Joe in shilling for a Medicare plan.

    • VJ says:

Yes, Rhonda, I had a good laugh when I saw our favorite 49er today and I have seen his Medicare commercial already. omg! I was like, et tu, Joe? 🤣🤣🤣

Later when Amy guessed Poland for Kosciuszko National Park’s country, I just felt in my bones that she was not gonna get FJ. I was kicking myself for second guessing my initial reaction to the FJ! clue.

      • rhonda says:

I was surprised that Amy didn’t get FJ and chose the same incorrect capital that I guessed this morning.

  6. Ismael Gomez says:

The clues were mean to Matt and we end the episode with a double stumper. As usual, nobody knows about geography.

  7. Louis Jin says:

What is this, a game to see who scored the worst in jeopardy? There have been stronger opponents than that in the history of this quiz game. This geography clue wasnt that hard given the hint winterlude in the clue itself. Now I am sure alex would not be happy seeing the contestants miss this fj about Canada.

    • Louis Jin says:

Other than that welcome to the tournament of Champions amy. Another streak for the month of November without leader curses. This season has started off on the right foot. Lets hope December will give us our wish for 5 or 6 day champs.

    • Rick says:

Oh I wouldn’t be too hard on them.. Personally, I have been in Ontario, but never during the winter months so I obviously wasn’t aware of the Winterlude event.

  8. Kevin Cheng says:

For the third consecutive game in a row, we have a player dismissed and it results with only 2 players left in FJ! Poor Matt, he took his swings and he was close so many times but it didn’t pay off and he set the record with the lowest negative score this season. It’s also the first time that we had 3 consecutive games with only 2 players left in FJ!

    • William Weyser says:

But on the plus side, even though FJ! didn’t work out in her favor this time, she still won her 5th game, which means that she’s in the Tournament of Champions no matter how far she goes.
