2/3 on DD and missed FJ. I said Pliny the Elder, as I really had no idea. I find it slightly chilling that a history prof said Caesar. Then, doubling down, for the American Legion, “the VFW”? Huh? Really?
I did get the general TS, because he did his first year at my college! Also, he finished 5th in the Modern Pentathlon at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.
Harrison’s accent threw me a bit. I had to turn on the captions twice to see what he said!
Wow, what a stirring battle among a real power trio, even moreso after Harrison’s slowish start and the crash on the DD. And I loved his accent. I’m guessing here that Allegra may still be eligible for the now-expanded ToC. Other than sweeping the Brit Lit category, I performed very poorly, all players leaving me in the dust repeatedly. A big zero on DDs, FJ and the stumpers. It’s a little bit scary when one’s instant recalls comes and goes at random.
Didn’t know the final but got the 1st and 3rd daily double. It was a fun game to watch, close. Was surprised no one got the American general clue.
