Carla Bruni Sets Ellen Straight on Her Accent

Carla Bruni, the former First Lady of France, singer and supermodel, appeared on The Ellen Show on April 29th. Ellen was thinking that Carla speaks English with a French accent. Carla, who was born in Turin, Italy, told her that she has an Italian voice. But her family did move to France when she was very young.

Apparently, Carla may get her old job back as First Lady of France if her husband, Nicolas Sarkozy, decides to run for president in 2017. She says it would be good for France but she really doesn’t seem all that enthusiastic at the prospect.
