Californication: Getting the Poison Out Recap

Hank helps Levon “get the poison out” in Episode 5 of Californication (S7 – 5-11-2014). And how does he do that? By hooking his son up with a hooker named Nikki who happened to be over at Marcy’s getting a bikini wax. Stu Beggs referred Nikki to Marcy because Charlie Runkle is a low-earner.

Charlie had his own problems trying to handle a drunken Goldie who was on the rampage and threw up in his lap when he tried to take her home.

Karen showed up at Marcy’s in the midst of the Nikki and Levon arrangements. In the absence of Julia, who was out on a date with Rick Rath, she felt compelled to try to stop Hank from going ahead with it, much to the disgust of Nikki’s “manager” (they’re not called pimps anymore).

But the deflowering of Levon proceeded. Levon was a happy camper and he assured Hank he would not to tell Julia, even though they tell each other everything.
