The new Minnesota Vikings QB, J.J. McCarthy, passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as the Vikings rallied with a 21 point fourth quarter to beat the Chicago Bears 27-24 September 8th on Monday Night Football. The Bears led 17-6 going into the fourth. McCarthy, who was Minnesota’s 1st round draft choice out of Michigan in 2024, was injured all of last season and didn’t look good prior to the fourth quarter-including throwing an interception to Nahshon Wright who returned it 74 yards for a touchdown.
