George Springer Leads the Way as Astros Win 7th Straight

Houston Astros centerfielder George Springer has had a great first half of May 2019. Through May 14th (13 games), Springer is hitting .460 with 7 homers and 15 RBIs. For the season, he’s hitting .329 with 16 homers, 39 runs scored, a .671 slugging percentage, and a 1.081 OPS. All of those numbers lead the American League, except for batting average, where he is 6 points behind teammate Michael Brantley.
