Once again, we had no triple solves this week. We had a total of 5 correct answers out of 15 players. That was one more than last week when only 14 participated in Final Jeopardy! So 15 heads are better than 14. A little, anyway.

Here is Jeopardy’s Semi-Finals video showing the highlights of each finalist’s game. It also shows that Adam doesn’t only slap the podium when he is wrong.

Adam didn’t turn out to be the comeback kid in the final match, but Keith Williams has the skinny on Two-day comebacks from third place.

Can you recall a clue from the tournament that you gave a player major props for answering correctly? VJ’s pick: Bible Briefs – $2,000 – Fiery furnace survivors, S, M & A

Adam buzzed in and nailed it: Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego

I found 4 other clues on J-Archive asking for all 3 names on this. Other times, they will put in 2 of the names and ask for the other or just ask for one of the 3. Out of the 4 other clues, there were 2 wrong and one right, and one reverse ruling for saying Abendego instead of Abednego.

Betty, the only game I can recall to have a similar clue was on 6-17-2014. It was a $1600 clue in the category “Solve For” and the clue was:

x = the number of popes named Benedict plus the number named John Paul

But it wasn’t a Final Jeopardy! or Daily Double clue. The clue was mentioned in the comments on the recap
