WHAT IS “THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING”?

Norman Vincent Peale was a well-known Protestant minister who served as pastor of New York City’s Marble Collegiate Church from 1932 until he retired in 1984. In 1952, he published “The Power of Positive Thinking”, as a motivational tool to help people discard negativity and develop peaceful and positive ways of coping. The book was a best-seller in the 1950s, has been translated to 40+ languages, and continues to sell well if Amazon reviews are a credible measure.

“The Power of Positive Thinking” had its critics even in its heyday, especially for being Bible-based but Peale was a minister after all, so what did they expect?

Iain came up with Jimi Hendrix’s autobiography. He lost $5,399 and finished with $1.00.

Not-so-good news for Stephanie- her incorrect response on the $800 You Know More Dutch Than You Think clue put her in the hole for good & must leave the game.
