The Final Jeopardy! clues in first 3 games of this week were triple stumpers. That’s quite unusual, isn’t it? Things picked up with 2 correct responses on Thursday in Movies, clearly the week’s easiest clue. On Friday, it was down to 1 right. Tuesday’s flag clue has to be the week’s hardest. Flags are tough. I only know one person who doesn’t have a hard time remembering flags and it ain’t me!

This week’s winners:
Mon 10/7/24 $20,000 Mark Fitzpatrick
Tue 10/8/24 $7,599 Mark Fitzpatrick
Wed 10/9/24 $23,600 Mark Fitzpatrick
Thu 10/10/24 $25,601 Mark Fitzpatrick
Fri 10/11/24 $13,700 Eamonn Campbell

In the 2 weeks before this one, 3x champ David Erb made $90,754 (thanks to big Daily Double bets). Then Ryan Manton won 4 games and $83,179. This week, we finally got our first 5x champ with Mark Fitzpatrick who is now the first contestant to qualify for the Tournament of Champion in Season 41. Mark also went over the $100K mark with $107,201 in winnings. $30,401 of that was earned in his first game last week, when he defeated Ryan Manton. So this week, Jeopardy! paid out $76,800 to Mark and $13,700 to Eamonn Campbell for a total of $90,500. Mark also picked up an extra $2,000 from the $25,000 paid in consolation prizes.

Here is the BBL, BUSY category from Thursday’s game.
