WHO IS COLONEL SANDERS?
Harland Sanders was born in 1890, and lost his father at the age of 6. His mother went to work and Harland took care of his 2 younger siblings. That’s when he first learned to cook. Sanders dropped out of 7th grade and went to work. At 16, he falsified his birth record and joined the Army. Honorably discharged, Sanders worked at several occupations in his 20s, including justice of the peace. In 1930, aged 40, he began serving fried chicken and ham dinners with biscuits at a gas station. His meals were a big hit with travelers.
Governor Rudy Laffoon commissioned Sanders as an honorary colonel in 1935. The gas station business failed but the Colonel never gave up. He sold his first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in 1952, and the rest is history. You’ll find out quite a bit more about Colonel Sanders on his Trivia page on IMDB. As of now, I don’t see it mentioned that George Hamilton played Colonel Sanders on “General Hospital”.🤣🤣🤣 — General, get it?

Somewhat disappointing game. The challengers were competent, especially Jayaker who had the lead but produced too many errors to stay close. Kind of a shame he nailed Final but didn’t win. (I too had JP Morgan as a guess.)
I thought that disallowance of Drew’s response was ridiculous, and should have been reversed. Thought one of them would know the very famous female historian and the Senate soup. The Congressional law enforcement officer wasn’t all that difficult.
I agree about the Congressional law enforcement officer. That was a gimme imo. Btw, Drew is quick on the buzzer. Sharp young man.
On the US Senate menu, it says “Senate Bean Soup”. I wonder if they would have given it to me.
Since I know a guy that works for the Congressional LEO, that one was easy.

I never once thought that Harland Sanders ever served in the military, but I did know that he was given the distinction of being given an honorary title of ‘Colonel’. Well, many Americans suspected that he was never a colonel in the military. Anyways, all I could think of was Douglas MacArthur which wasn’t a bad guess since the esteemed general did own some plantations in the Philippines.
