This was a better week in FJ! than most we have recently seen. We had 2 clues everyone got and 2 clues that 2 players got. The hardest was Tuesday’s clue, unless your specialty was philosophy like the current champ. Then it was probably the easiest. Otherwise the easiest had to be Monday’s magazine clue.
8x champ Hannah Wilson returned for Game 9 on Monday to try to add to her $229,801 winnings. 3x champ Ben Chan also returned and trounced everyone, running away with the game to the tune of $60,000! Ben repeated the runaway part for the rest of the week, but not the ginormous payday. He was within range of roughly half of it for the rest of the week, except for Friday. Ben is now an 8x champ. He has won $227,800.
Here is the “LITERARY MISMATCH” category from Friday’s game, plus Ben’s other DD and the $2K “Gaits” clue.
