Jane Seymour Backpedals

We were real surprised when we saw the Jane Seymour reports quoting her as saying she knew Arnold Schwarzenegger had at least two other out-of-wedlock children. We thought it would be not only highly irresponsible, but another real low blow to Maria Shriver, because it implies that a lot of people knew about the Governator’s hanky-panky and well … even if it’s true the wife is the last to know, to find out a lot of other people knew and never said a word is tough.

So we waited for the other foot to fall and it has.

Jane Seymour told TheWrap that she was misquoted by the press while on a press line for an upcoming movie she co-stars in with James Brolin. CNN quoted the actress as saying: “I heard about two more [out of wedlock kids] somebody else knows about. I even met someone who knows him well.” By the time this got done making the rounds, you would have thought she not only had direct knowledge of Arnold’s infidelities, but even knew the alleged kids’ names.

But Seymour says she has no direct knowledge whatsoever, and was only repeating media gossip and now wishes she kept her mouth shut.
