It was a far, far better week than we have seen in a while. Monday’s clue got one correct response, and two players were correct every day for the rest of the week. While that’s great, it makes judging the easiest and hardest clues difficult. The Supreme Court clue stands out as hardest because the 3 cases in the matter all had different names. I knew that one but the easiest for me was really the Westminster Abbey clue. I’m still a big fan of that guy!
This week’s winners:
Mon 6/30/25 $22,401 Dave McBride
Tue 7/01/25 $22,401 Jason Singer
Wed 7/02/25 $26,400 Jason Singer
Thu 7/03/25 $17,600 Scott Riccardi
Fri 7/04/25 $50,400 Scott Riccardi
Returning champ Klay Frappier lost his second game on Monday to Dave McBride, who turned out to be the last of the red-hot 1-day champs when Jason Singer won the next 2 games. Scott Riccardi took over the reins on Thursday and punctuated it with a huge win on Friday. Scott’s big payday on Friday was $1,599 more than the other 2 highest daily totals combined! The total top prizes cost Jeopardy! $139,202 this week, almost as much as the last 2 weeks put together!
Jeopardy! also paid out $25K in consolation prizes. Klay was the only champ to get $3K when he lost his second game. Dave and Jason both got an extra $2K.
