I got all 3 DD and FJ., and about half the TS. Hey, I’ll take it!

It’s kinda funny that the last time James Cook was the Final Jeopardy! response (November 8, 2023), Magellan was one of the wrong replies, even though the clue had 1774 in it. People seemingly mix those two up more than you might think despite the 2 century difference. 😲

Impressive finish, and worthy challengers. I felt confident it was Cook.
Adriana a very strong player. I loved that sixties category! That DD about burning the object was tricky. I do remember some people doing that. When I turned 18, my dorm director registered me for the draft. Second DD was a mystery to me. 1936 was key on the third, and Josh barely got it in. Same with Adriana on “J’accuse.”

Disappointed no one knew the black cavalry unit. The noisy outburst blank and blank was tough, but I remembered the synonym for color, and the rest was easy. The $1000 fruit clue was fairly obvious.

I place the blame on the media for contestants not knowing about the black cavalry unit. All of the attention focuses on the Tuskegee Airmen which is certainly deserving but little attention is given to the black cavalry unit. I like it when “J’accuse” pops up as a clue which isn’t frequently enough imo.

I also went with Captain James Cook in FJ, but I don’t think it was a bad guess at all. Anyways, it was another great game!

I wasn’t surprised that none of them got the cemetery reference to Dodge, although watching a few episodes of Gunsmoke would have taken care of that. 🤣🤣🤣

It looked like Adriana was headed for another runaway but Josh sure put his foot on the gas pedal in Round 2. I can understand how he felt the need for caution on the second DD that he got. Ultimately, it made no difference since he didn’t know the FJ! answer.
