I started with 1700s novels, and Gulliver’s Travels went through my head. The “of God” made me think of “-el”. However, I didn’t put it all together, and had no answer.

The pauses and choppiness do not endear me.

  2. Howard says:

“Easily duped” and “18th century lit” made FJ a giveaway. Cannot believe no one got it. Kevin bet enough to knock out Cyrus, but not nearly enough to beat Maryhelen if both got FJ right. It looked as if he was playing for 2nd.

Some tough stumpers, although there were a few I thought might have been answered. Winnie Cooper show; violin family instrument; Caribbean island; and Diestag/Dies Martis word.

  3. Collin says:

Nobody wants to answer all the $2,000 clues in the Double Jeopardy round today.

  4. Rick says:

The last clue in FJ was obviously an indirect reference to Lemuel Gulliver so my mother and I both got it right. Anyways, we’re glad to see Mayim Bialek back as the Jeopardy host.

  5. Lawrence says:

Interesting FJ wager from Kevin, betting to cover an all-in from 3rd place but not defending vs. 2nd place. Though so many triple stumpers lately, maybe going small is smart. Would be tough to live with if FJ turns out to be a layup, though.

  6. Ismael Gomez says:

And we start off the month with a triple stumper as today’s final was a tough one.
