Dennis should win at least 5 games.

I read Of Mice and Men and i did not like the book. I gave it a 3 out of 10.

I also read Fahrenheit 451 and gave that a 3 out of 10. It is so disappointing to read classic books and wonder what all the fuss is about. To be positive i gave The importance of being earnest a 10 out of 10.

PS – the Abominable Snowman / Daffy Duck clip (in the video) is my favorite George & Lennie allusion. I love Daffy Duck!

      “I’m not a rabbit!” LOL

      • VJ says:

LOL, Rhonda. When we first got computers, it greatly amused me to put different sounds on different things. If you made a mistake, Daffy would say “You’re despicable!”

I had Bugs Bunny on there too. He said “hey you big gorilla”, though I don’t remember what I associated that with.

Well, I was rooting for Pasquale today. I was hoping he would win a second game after that triple stumper game yesterday. Also, as I mentioned earlier today, I was pretty sure he would get the correct inference from the FJ clue. I thought my hopes for that would be dashed when he didn’t know that “Christmas won’t be Christmas without any presents” is the opening line of “Little Women”. But he came through and if George had gotten the lock back, he very well may have won big today.

But Dennis was killing the buzzer big time and was very knowledgeable so congrats to him. Just goes to show ya — no matter how good you are, you never know who’s gonna show up and take you out on Jeopardy! Not to mention, you never know when a tough Final will take you out!!

Jen couldn’t get anything going today since dennis was quick on the buzzer It’s not surprising that only one knew Of Mice and Men since I read this book back in high school. Maybe Dennis can definitely get a streak going given his high winnings. We wrap up the week with one triple stumper a triple solve and some single solves today and one three time winner. I’d say Aaron has done well as host though I would very much like to see Levar Burton have a schedule set up for him in jeopardy hosting gig.
