WHO IS CHESLEY “SULLY” SULLENBERGER?

It will probably take you longer to read and digest Captain “Sully” Sullenberger’s account of what became known as “The Miracle on the Hudson”, than the 4 seconds it took to happen. Shortly after takeoff from LaGuardia airport on January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 flew straight into a flock of geese that destroyed the plane’s engines. With 155 passengers on board and no safe airport in range, Sullenberger determined that his best option was to bring the plane down in the ice cold Hudson River. Sullenberg recounted the harrowing event in his 2009 memoir, “Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters”. His incredible quick thinking and expertise saved the lives of everyone on the plane.

Tom Hanks had the title role in the 2016 film “Sully” which is currently rated 7.4 on IMDB. I never made it through Hitchcock’s 1963 film “The Birds”, starring Rod Taylor and Tippi Hedren. You could watch it on TV when I was 16, but I bailed when all those birds flew out of the fireplace!

Quentin bet $4,999 and finished with $9,999.

Nishal bet $3,001 and finished with $11,001.

Cory bet $530 and won the game with $17,930. Cory Aiello is the new Jeopardy! champ.
