Emily found the last Daily Double in “Battles” under the $1,200 clue, with 4 clues left after it. In second place with $9,800, she had $2,000 less than Shannan’s lead. She bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

WHAT IS NASA?

Katherine Johnson is a retired mathematician who worked for NASA from 1953 until 1986. In recognition of her essential contributions to the success of America’s space program, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015. Mrs. Johnson and colleagues, Dorothy K. Vaughan and Mary Jackson, are often referred to as “human computers.” Their life stories are told in “Hidden Figures,” a 2016 bestseller by Margot Lee-Shetterly. The 2016 Oscar-nominated film of the same name was based on the book. According to NASA, the $30 million, 40,000-square-foot Computational Research Facility was dedicated to Katherine Johnson at NASA’s Langley Research Center on 5/5/2016, when she was 97 years old. Her 100th birthday comes up on 8/26/2018.

    I was surprised that Alex didn’t know the colors of the spectrum and he never remember Spamalot. Alex must have second guessed those answers in the.daily doubles. Have you watched musicals like 42nd street or spamalot, VJ? ,but I am still happy all the contestants got final right. I am really hoping Emily breaks the leader curse and wins tomorrow and hope she gets a streak.
