  1. Howard says:

Jeff seemed nervous at times, such as forgetting his phrasing and stumbling over some responses. It didn’t matter in the end, but he should have gone all-in or close to that on both of those DDs to have any chance of winning.

Final came to me right away, the one company I was sure is HQ’d in Minnesnowta. First DD was a gimme. The other two stumped me. The English dynasty not too hard to deduce. I’d have to double-check, but I think the early answer of “strike” in the 1995 baseball clue should have been “lockout.” There was no World Series in 1994, and the start of the ’95 season was delayed.

  2. VJ says:

I was astonished when Jeff rang in on the $2K clue and blurted out ‘barnacle’, completely forgetting the category was IN TAME IMPALA. That was after bombing in 2 other $2K clues and betting only $1200 when he found the Science DD under the $2K clue! Mercy!

It’s good to go after the $2K clues when you’re far behind but it’s not good to buzz in unless you know it cold because that’s a lot to lose.

Meantime, Ken says Jamie “casually” made his DD a Daily Double. Jaime actually shrugged and grimaced as he said that. To me, Jamie comes off like he’s totally bored.

  3. Kevin Cheng says:

With that, Jamie is now a double digit champion. He becomes the 20th player in Jeopardy history to win 10 or more games and he is now #18 in the all-time winnings list. Jamie also becomes the second player this season to become a superchampion.
