WHO IS MAURICE RAVEL?

Musecool says bolero is traditionally a Spanish dance. It inspired French composer Maurice Ravel’s most famous composition, “Boléro”, although “Ravel’s piece is a distinct orchestral work that reimagines the bolero rhythm in a modern, symphonic context.” Ravel’s father was Swiss by birth and his mother was Basque. They met near Madrid in Spain and married in Paris in 1873. Ravel’s mother spoke fluent Spanish as well as her native language and it’s believed that she put young Maurice to sleep with Spanish lullabies.

TJ crossed out Ravel and went with Bizet. He lost $777 and finished with $7,023.

Scott got it right. He didn’t bet anything so his score remained $8,200.

Paolo thought it was Rossini. He lost $121 but won the game with $25,479. So it’s one down and two to go for Paolo.
