I can name 5 cities in Switzerland, but, this day, what was the name I could not recall? Not Bern, not Geneva, not Lausanne, not Basel, but, of course, Zurich. I said Luzerne (because of the mention of the lake), but I don’t even know if that is a city. (And Professor Wikipedia tells me there is, but spelled “Lucerne”.)

Agree about Jackie – Eric seemed to lean back a bit, until he saw her catching up. This was a really good game – balanced, all smart people, not dumb ring ins.

I’m hoping for Zack on Monday, but, any of them could win it. I have a feeling that the Monday game will be another barn burner.

Jackie did an amazing job in preventing Eric from getting a runaway, when a lot of players would throw in the towel after seeing an opponent rack up over $17K on daily doubles. I do admire tenacity.

    • rhonda says:

I agree, VJ. I was rooting for her.

    • Howard says:

I was about to say that DDs aside, Jackie was the strongest of 3 excellent players.
All 3 FJ wagers were very clever. Had Eric missed, they’d all have finished within $2.
After spending half of FJ remembering that Helvetia meant Switzerland, I went with Zurich over Bern and Geneva, but really didn’t know.

  3. Lou says:

Well happy to see Jaskaran and Eric getting the final right. Congrats. Strong players today I must say.

    And then there were 11.
