For future reference, Canadian author and poet Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote Anne of Green Gables
Thanks for the information VJ; I’ll keep it in mind.
Killer FJ. Although Xanni missed it, I’d nominate her for a future 2nd chance tourney.
A little surprised no one knew the famous actor who played Tom Joad. One of his best roles. I got his autograph backstage in 1974 after his 1-man appearance as Clarence Darrow.
A much better FJ than the previous contradictory one to be sure. Although no one came up with the correct response (including me), it was still fair game.
Xanni played an impressive game and now she is looking good for the second chance tournament next year. Happy to see Cris winning this game again. Congrats!
Tough final as we got our first triple stumper this week.
Xanni had a very impressive score and on any other day, she would have been in contention to perhaps become the new champion.
Concur, Trevor. She was strong, but, have to credit Cris’ gameplay.
Just like the contestants, I said “Anne of Green Gables”, although I was quite confident that I was wrong. Still, a lights out game! Happy to see it!
Xanni will definitely be back for the next Second Chance Tournament.
