What a great recap of today’s spectacular FJ, VJ!! I am honored that you included me in it, that was such a sweet thing to do, it was such a lovely surprise, thanks so much. I love the book cover and leave it to you to find a Lapine/English and English/Lapine dictionary. Perhaps dear Julie might like to learn how to say hello in Lapine lol?

    • VJ says:

I’m glad you liked that, Rhonda. I’m going to teach “frithaes” to Julie once I figure out how to say it. According to that dictionary, it’s like “ciao” — can mean hi and bye. She’s sure to find that fascinating. We used to sit around and ask Alexa what different animals say. I wonder if Alexa knows Lapine. lol

      • rhonda says:

That’s so awesome, VJ, I’m happy to hear that! Please keep me posted. I love that the two of you used to ask Alexa what different animals say.

        • VJ says:

I will keep you posted. Rhonda. I’m sure the twins won’t be seeing the current Watership Down animated mini series that’s on Netflix anytime soon. Due to violence, it’s not recommended for children under 11 even though the violence has been toned down somewhat 😲

But I don’t see how that as an obstacle to talking about how bunnies say hi and bye 🤣🤣

        • rhonda says:

Thanks, VJ. I vaguely recall seeing the original Watership Down movie in the theater, that must have been in the mid-70’s. I doubt it was nearly as violent as the Netflix mini series.

Those true daily doubles didnt pay off for Chris or Greta but I am happy to see a triple solve to close out the week. We wrap up the week with two early dismissals and a few double solves. Amy sweeps up the week with 8 wins so far surpassing Jennifer quail. I hope she gets 300K on Monday of next week. Watership down was my favorite novel since grade school.
