Steven really “rubbed me the right way” with “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” Something about adding “What is” to already questions is rather weird, to my ears – like, “What’s eating Gilbert Grape?”
I wasn’t paying attention, so, I was 0/3 on DD. However, for some reason, I did say “Victoria”. I don’t know why. Something funny, though – we watch “Hudson & Rex”, and that takes place in – St. John’s, NF!
Steven was super impressive, even without the DD hits. The 3rd was easy, the others not so much. His stentorian voice, phrasing, and occasional gestures remind me a lot of Matt Amodio.
I said Victoria for Final, but only because that’s the only provincial capital I know for sure. Lovely town, we enjoyed our visit there. Definitely knew how many times a lamb’s tail shakes.
Well, that was a decent game. Nice to see 2 of them get the final clue. I thought Josh might have known one of the capitals but didn’t see any point in figuring it out.
My mom liked to use that lamb’s tail expression. I was super surprised to see Charlotte Perkins Gilman in a clue.
I also like the lamb’s tail expression, VJ. I taught it to a certain little girl as well, lol.
Cool, Rhonda! My mom had one more shake than the response Ken Jennings gave — but they would have had to give that to me.
I had no idea, thanks, VJ.
Wow, a clear runaway for Steven! Anyways, it was another exciting game. As for me, I underperformed somewhat, but at least the FJ was a given.
