Ugh. As others have said, what a dog of a show. I was 2/3 on DD, and got FJ. My spouse happened to be right here when it came to Final, and we got it immediately, at the same time.
IMO none of these 3 deserved to advance. Kamau totally out of his element other than Classic TV. The 3 DDs were murder. I did get Final fairly quickly. The Latin phrase made me think of the Hallelujah Chorus and from there to the Messiah. I also beat them on multiple stumpers: the French president (kinda obvious as a low-$ clue); the golfer’s procedure; (about the only thing I do well at that game); the C port; the Fisch slapping song; the baseball-loving historian; unfaithfulness; and the mathematical term.
And only 1/3 got that cinch Final two years ago?
Around the Americas stumper has a missing $ amt.
Fixed. That was the $200 in that category — put the 2 places together and you have the first and last names of Columbus in Spanish 🤣🤣🤣
yup
This must be the worst game in Season 42.
For the second day in a row, the wagering clues were not nice to anybody resulted our third epic fail on wagering clues this season.
Ugh, I hope the 100th game of the season will eliminate two consecutive days of low-scoring affairs.
Alex DeFrank, not your day with the Daily Doubles and with FJ! Sorry about that.
Being able to win a TofC game from the fourth podium doesn’t always happen.
Well, my hopes for a better game were dashed. Even though the big lead Alex had went south in a hurry, he still was in the lead at the end of the last round. Crazy!
They’re really putting the whammy on these guys with some of this stuff.
Maybe, tomorrow will be a game, and also, tomorrow’s the 100th game of the season. Whoever wins tomorrow’s game will have something to celebrate with.
For the second day in a row, we have a low scoring game and all three daily doubles were missed again. Darn those daily doubles to Alex. Congrats to Ashley for winning despite having only 8 correct to 29 correct for Alex. We’ll see her in the semifinals next week and we’ll see Kamau next month in the Celebrity Jeopardy All Stars. They mentioned that during the interviews that Kamau will take part in that event next month.
