Ami found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Greek Letter Phrases” under the $800 clue, with 6 clue remaining after it. She was second place with $3,400, $800 less than Natalie and Cary, who were tied for the lead. She bet $1,600 and took a guess with FedEx. That was WRONG.

Cary finished in the lead with $6,200. Natalie was second with $4,200 and Ami was last with $1,800.

Cary found the first Daily Double in “Abrupt Abbreviations” under the $2,000 clue on the 13th pick. He was in the lead with $8,600 at this point, $1,600 more than Ami in second place. He bet $2,000 and he was RIGHT.

We didn’t get to the last Daily Double. If it wasn’t under the $2000 clue in “Book of Palms,” it was under the $1600 or $2000 clue in “On Boxing Day”
Cary finished in the lead with $11,400. Ami was next with $8,200 and Donna was in third place with $3,800.

Natalie got it right. She didn’t bet anything in this game either, so she stayed at $3,800.
Ami also got it. Her $6,000 bet brought her up to $14,200.
Cary had Yukon but he pluralized Territory. Really, it looked like he left the “i” out of “ies.” Alex said: “No, the plural is not acceptable.” Goodness gracious! He lost his $5,001 bet and landed in second place with $6,399. Ami Li is the new Jeopardy! champ.

I thought Cary’s plural (s) was a question mark. It had a period under it and looked nothing like an s. He simply ran out of room and bungled the spelling of territory. Is Alex the final judge?
Alex isn’t a judge, Kathy, he is the host. They have a separate panel of judges.
I say that Cary got a raw deal on the FJ.
Would “the Yukon” have been accepted?
Yeah, that was a big bummer. I sure wished he stopped at Yukon. Can’t see why it would not be accepted and I was surprised that they all felt the need to include the word to begin with. It was already in the clue.
I was surprised as well at that.
Final was easy for me, but I am Canadian so that could be why.
Yukon trail, a popular pc game took me back to remembering the Yukon territories. Still though it was up and down with cary today. Also, have you played the Yukon trail by mecc VJ? Or perhaps You were into the Amazon trail?
@Lou, no, I never played those games. Back when we played games on the PC, we had this little set of games we liked. I don’t remember the names. I just remember you had to use the arrow keys to play most of them. There was one with cats that you blocked in to stop them from catching the mouse. There was a flag matching game and, in another, you were skiing downhill and trying to avoid this abominable snowman who would pop out all of a sudden. That one was crazy!
