Elizabeth found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “On Stage” under the $400 clue, with 6 clues to go after it. She was in the lead with $5,400, $1,800 ahead of Nate in second place. She bet $2,000 and guessed H.M.S. Pinafore. That was WRONG.

Ryan found the first Daily Double in “Pharaohs” under the $2,000 clue, with 4 clues still to go. At $3,000, he was in what Alex likes to call “a distant third,” $7,200 behind Nate’s lead. “At this point, gotta risk it all,” Ryan said. He did and he was RIGHT.

Ryan found the last Daily Double in “Gangsters” under the $1,200 clue, the very last. In the lead with $10,400 now, he had $200 more than Nate in second place. He bet $4,000 and he was RIGHT.

Ryan finished in the lead with $14,400, not a runaway but certainly his most impressive comeback to date. Nate was next with $10,200 and Elizabeth was in third place with $5,800.

Nate drew a blank. He lost his $1,801 bet, leaving him with $8,399.
Ryan also got it right. He bet $11,000 bet, winning with $25,400. Wow!! Utterly amazing, considering he was at $600 after the 21st clue in the last round. Ryan’s 3-day total is $67,399.

Anyhoo, is it possible for you to put the posts in order from oldest to newest instead of the other way around? Or include an option to choose which order we prefer?
@Becci, the only option I have now is to put it in newest to oldest, or vice versa. Most people prefer newest to oldest because they don’t want to have to scroll down through comments they already read. An option to choose would probably involve a plugin (already told ya they are often more trouble than they are worth), but I’ll look into it anyhow and let you know.
By the way, I found out that I can turn on smileys without a plugin, but you still have to type the letters that create them. Yes, I’m a woman and I live in Houston. idk why you thought I was a man either 😀

About the order, it’s just a pain to scroll down to the bottom and read things backwards, it’s especially annoying when reading the responses to them. I figure that oldest first is more logical?
Oh not at all, Becci. I wasn’t offended by any means. It’s a perfectly innocent assumption that happens now and then.
idk what kind of device you are reading the site on. I use a notebook and I don’t scroll. I either go to the comment after the one I read last on the sidebar link, or use page down.
I think most people like the conversation groupings better. If they’re not interested in the original point, they can just skip reading the responses.

Yes, Ryan made a great recovery at the end of DJ today but I was surprised to see his arrogant gesture after winning FJ. I don’t appreciate that behavior and will not watch until he loses.
Well Ryan made a comeback today. But I used to eat these ore-ida fries before back in my younger years and I would have had them during school lunch time. VJ do you still like the ore-ida fries or tater tots under that brand?
Furthermore I think we are seeing a pattern here just like back in September 2014 when Cathy Hardee won four games then we had three streakers in January 2015. So I’m guessing if Ryan wins two more games then he is in the toc. All Ryan needs to is to keep making runaways.
I hope Ryan makes it to 5 games, Lou, though I wish he would try to curtail the bad guessing! That was pretty amazing today — I really thought he was sunk. He reminds me of someone (not another J! contestant). I just can’t put my finger on it.
These days, I prefer fast food fries to tater tots. Sorry Ore-Ida.

@mimsy, sorry it came off that way to you. However, I think looking like a character is a distinct asset at Halloween. For example, my grandson won a prize at Halloween once because at the time, he was a dead ringer for young Harry Potter. I won a prize at age 8 myself because I looked like a character.
