I’ve been playing Phrasle online everyday for a while now, mainly because some of the phrases bring back memories. I’ve decided to post the previous day’s solution here because I think it’s also a useful tool in helping one recognize word patterns (sort of like cryptograms). Give it a try!
Yesterday’s Phrasle Solution:
Tue 4-16-24: HEALTH IS WEALTH
King of New York (1990): “I wish you health, wealth, happiness, a lot of babies, no cops.”
Remember I always prefer “phrase?” The highest solve rate has been with this category. Too many choices in other categories imo. At least some logic can be attached to “phrase” given a specific number of spaces provided for each word.
Btw, I just noticed you brought back your empty spaces to guess words. When did you do that? My guess for today is “are rarely chosen.” At least the letters fit. 🤔
Jacob, I think I started doing the comment puzzle again about a week now. Check the answer inside the spoiler under the bonus puzzle answer.
VJ, As we have discussed so many times, I can’t figure out why contestants select categories such as this one. Living things could be anything. Living things
could be animals, plants, etc. Fortunately she had a good haul from the regular game though.
True, Jacob, but if I’m remembering right, her other choices were Thing and Phrase. I don’t trust that Phrase category either. So I guess I would have been stuck picking Thing.
