Willie’s Weed

Country singer, Willie Nelson, is planning to open a chain of marijuana dispensaries and related products, including signature strains of pot that will be called “Willie’s Reserve.” Given his well-known and long experience with the product, it’s no wonder that Nelson would want to get in on the growing legalized marijuana business with his own brand but according to Market Watch, industry experts foresee “significant hurdles” for the venture, citing the cannabis regulations and licensing issues that vary widely from state to state, and even from city to city in the same state.

However, Willie Nelson’s spokesman Michael Bowman told The Daily Beast that he doesn’t see a problem opening in some states and said that Willie’s Reserve is “a culmination of Willie’s vision, and his whole life.”

Last year, Bob Marley’s family announced plans to create a line of pot products. Their brand name is “Marley Natural.” Can Snoop Dogg’s Blunts be far behind?
