A Nashville judge ruled in favor of country music star Tim McGraw on Wednesday, November 30th, giving him the right to continue to record music and sign with another record label.
McGraw was locked in a legal battle with Curb Records. Curb is suing him for breach of contract and contends that he has a contractual obligation to record a fifth album for them. They sought to prevent McGraw from recording or signing with another label until he fulfills that obligation.
The trial of the case is currently scheduled for July of 2012, but in the meantime, that is less problem for McGraw, who is married to country singer Faith Hill.
