The Final Five Cut Down to Four

Three Celebrity Apprentices get fired on May 6, 2012, but before even one gets the gate, Lisa Lampanelli pranked the remaining contestants into thinking that both Dayana Mendoza and Clay Aiken were fired. Then Clay strolled in and Lisa crowed about Dayana’s departure. The Queen of Mean then immediately set her sights on Teresa Giudice as her next target. “Bring it on,” Teresa said.

The Final Five meet up with Donald Trump at the Hearst Tower. Robbie Myers, editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine, Farouk Shami and John McCall of Farouk Systems.  The task is to create a 4-page layout ad campaign for Farouk’s new Chi digital touchscreen hair dryer. The winning team will get $100,000. Farouk loves red and complimented Audrey on her hair. He asked if it was Chi color and she promptly lied and said it was all natural. We saw them roots last week, Aubrey.

Lisa Lampanelli decided to lead Team Forte, consisting of herself and Clay Aiken.

Much to her delight, Teresa volunteered to lead  Team Unanimous, consisting of herself, Arsenio Hall and Aubrey O’Day. Arsenio noticed that Farouk had on a custom pair of red boots to match his company branding.

Is Farouk pimping, or what? Corporate pimping — he’s a bad little dude. ~ Arsenio Hall

Arsenio also noticed that Farouk had a thing for Aubrey. He said he was going to move from Houston to L.A. where Aubrey lives.

When the executives visited Team Forte, they were warned about the line between sexy and vulgar. Clay laughed at Lisa.  Lisa is already planning on throwing Clay under the bus if stuff goes wrong. Clay, you could tell, was not enthralled with her abstract idea of showing different types of woman — not just another pretty face. But he did his best to be supportive.

Teresa and Lisa meet to negotiate over models. Lisa set about manipulating Teresa by pretending she wanted the redhead model Teresa picked. Lisa put Teresa through the mill and Teresa said she sees Lisa for who she is really is:

She’s a shady, shifty, two-faced blank. You could fill in the blank. ~ Teresa Giudice

Lisa crowed to Clay about saddling them with two guys.

I’m an evil genius. ~ Lisa Lampanelli

Eric Trump arrives in the midst of Aubrey and Arsenio’s disappointment with Teresa losing the negotiation so badly. Eric says that could really work out badly for Teresa if they lose. You can see the wheels turning in Aubrey’s head.

Lisa and Clay meet with their models and assign them roles, like librarian and tomboy. Clay said he wasn’t thrilled with the concept before but now he is “cautiously optimistic.” Clay tells Lisa to take a model with her to go shopping.

Clay is the only gay guy in the world who doesn’t know anything about fashion ~ Lisa Lampanelli

While Aubrey repairs the damage that Teresa has done by getting models with good hair, Teresa went on and on about Lisa — Lisa. can go scratch; Lisa you messed with the wrong person, and on and on and on!

Sooner than you could say Danity Kane, Aubrey <i>was<i> the red-head model and the original model was out the door.

While Clay got the shots of the models, Lisa sat around stuffing her face. Don Jr. showed up and Lisa explained her concept to an unimpressed Don Jr.

Teresa was shocked to find Aubrey preparing for her shoot topless.

Aubrey was sitting there with her boobs hanging out. Like, literally, they were out. Do you have any morals? Like, what are you doing? ~ Teresa Giudice

Aubrey revealed that she has been in Elle before — on their Worst Dressed list.

I’m definitely getting my revenge today by their being red-headed bombshell. Take that, Elle Magazine! ~ Aubrey O’Day

Unanimous’ presentation begins terribly. Teresa’s screws it up six ways till Sunday, stumbling over her words and not appearing confident at all. Aubrey does her best to rescue the presentation with her undeniable hair — hello! — complete with sucking up to Farouk. Don’t ask us what Arsenio’s role was — it’s quieter than his girlfriend’s old dryer? Something like that. The executives liked Arsenio though. They thought it was cool that a bald guy knew so much about hair dryers. Robbie Meyers wanted to give Teresa a pass for being nervous, but it was a big negative. They also weren’t happy about the lack of product info on the photos. But they did love their passion.

Lisa and Clay gave a smooth presentation and the executives really liked their concept, as well as the fact that they did not neglect info on the products. The negatives were the fashion and a lesser amount of passion than Team Unanimous.

Well, you didn’t have to be an evil genius to figure out who won and who was going home. Teresa was the project manager of the losing team. It was her responsibility to oversee the branding and her presentations skills left a lot to be desired. It was Teresa’s fault basically that they lost.

You can’t fight someone who’s unarmed. That’s what the Real Housewives have seen all along. You just sit there, give her a rope, she hangs herself. She’s like – you’re so dumb! ~Lisa Lampanelli

Teresa tried to offer Arsenio up as the sacrificial lamb. She tried to get Aubrey to back her up when she said that Arsenio brought nothing to the table, minimizing his photography contributions.

Don’t throw me under the bus, ’cause I’ll back it up and hit you with it ~ Arsenio Hall

Arsenio and Aubrey tried to prank Clay and Lisa back, but Lisa wasn’t buying it. Their little celebration was interrupted by Amanda in a red dress who escorted them back to the boardroom,

Donald Trump informed them that their next assignment would be to meet last year’s winner, John Rich and the runner up, Marlee Matlin.

At the end of the interview, they’re going to consult with me. They’re going to give me their recommendations and two people will be fired. ~ Donald Trump
