Whoa! Remember this 60′s song, The Time Has Come Today? We mean The Original — by the Chambers Brothers. There have been several covers, the latest offering from American Idol Season 4 runner-up, Bo Bice, but the original can’t be beat.
http://www.dailymotion.com/videox10an6We tried to find out some news about the band, which consisted of four brothers, George, Joe, Lester and Willie and drummer, Brian Keenan. Unfortunately, Brian passed away in 1985 after a heart attack. There is a website for Chambers Brother Reunited, but it says “under construction” and just has some photographs on it. Lester Chambers is still performing and recording. He has his own website and talks about his CDs in this interview: Lester Chambers: Then and Now.
Can’t find anything about what George, Joe and Willie are up to these days. Anybody?
