First, a radio station offered Dina Lohan and Lindsay Lohan a cool million to host a radio show, reportedly where people call in for advice. The radio station, Power 105 in New York, released a statement that says:
“We think that hosting a morning program would be the perfect gig for Lohan. Besides her experience in film, TV and music, she has appeared on radio programs in the past on Radio Disney and other stations. If Lohan wants to take some time off from Hollywood and spend some much-needed R&R with her family but still needs to atone for her reported $600,000 in credit card debt, hosting Party 105’s morning show would be an ideal way for the starlet to reconnect with her fans – starting with those closest to her hometown who have followed her career from the beginning.”
Can’t help wondering if they wrote all that with a straight face. Who seriously wants advice from two people who can’t even run their own lives?
Lindsay’s father, Michael, has made an announcement of his own, and it looks like he’ll be giving out advice, too. He’s opening up his own rehab. OK reports that RadarOnline reports (forgive us for we can no longer bear to look at the latter) that Michael Lohan has confirmed this move.
“I think it’s time that Dina and I both step out of the media for a while, and for me that means getting back to what I know best — helping people with addiction.” Lohan says he has an entire team of therapists on board and the whole shebang is being financed by “a really well known person” whose identity he cannot reveal.
He says people who are using prescriptions will not be admitted to his yet unnamed facility (but we’re betting the name will have Lohan in there somewhere), and he will run a tight ship.
