Taylor Swift: Innocent or Low Class?

Singer Taylor Swift’s representative straight up told the Daily News that there is “no truth” to the statements made by of Victoria Gifford Kennedy that she was not invited and not welcome at the wedding of  Victoria’s daughter, Kyle, to Liam Kerr.

Why didn’t Victoria want Taylor Swift there? Simple – it was Kyle’s day and no one wants their kid upstaged by a pop star making an entrance. 22-year-old Swift is currently dating 18-year-old Conor Kennedy, her youngest boyfriend ever.

Mrs. Kennedy says “They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” and she responded in the negative very clearly: “Please do not come.”

When they showed up anyway, Mrs. Kennedy says she personally asked Taylor Swift to vamoose, but was ignored: “It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”

Well, Kathie Lee Gifford, who is the stepmom of the mother of the bride, was actually there and told Access Hollywood that Victoria Gifford Kennedy’s account is true and that it is also true that Taylor Swift was asked to leave two times.  But Kathie Lee did allow for the possibility that it was all a big surprise to Swift.

Perhaps she was invited — by her boyfriend, Conor — and did not know that he had been asked not to come. Maybe Conor didn’t get or read the text and didn’t know himself.
