Steve Schirripa Back in Two Shows

Steve Schirripa will be hosting the second season of “Nothing Personal” beginning March 7th on the Investigation Discovery channel. The show delves into the hows and whys of contract killings, and the episodes are not just about the mafia, an idea some folks might get just because Schirripa played a mob member on The Sopranos.

Yeah, James Gandolfini is not the only one from that show who is most closely identified with the role he played. Whenever Schirripa appears in interviews, something about his role as Bobby ‘Baccala’ Baccalieri invariably crops up. But it’s small wonder. There were so many great scenes in The Sopranos with Bobby. One of our favorites was when he came back from Canada after pulling off his own first hit, and his little daughter went running to him and he held her close. It almost made you cry. And then there was the ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ scene where Bobby thinks Nostradamus is Quasimodo.

Later this month, on March 26th, “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”‘ returns to ABC Family where Steve Schirripa portrays Leo Boykevich, the Sausage King.
