Snooki Trademark on Ice

Getting her trademark application denied sure made Snooki upset:

Wawaaa! Nobody knew who Snooky the Cat was until I applied for a trademark! I’m the real Snooki bitches!, she tweeted.

But that isn’t really true. Just a week after her original application, Snooky the Cat was mentioned in the article, Snooki Trademark Conflicts, as a possible problem for her application:

“There is an existing trademark in the class she applied for (IC 016) for The Adventures of Snooky, a series of children’s books, owned by the author, John Monaghan. Snooky is a cat …”

If it was that easy to find out, what happened there? Snooki’s lawyers didn’t their homework.

Looks like Snooki got tooki.
