Schwarzenegger in Austria, Sees Hannes Reichelt Big Win

Schwarzenegger and Milligan

Arnold Schwarzenegger traveled to his native Austria this weekend to attend the 74th Hahnenkamm Races and festivities, bringing along his current girlfriend, Heather Milligan. The 66-year-old action star and former California governor lends his annual support to the event in Kitzbühel, but it was a first time trip for his 38 year-old girlfriend along. The couple have been together for about a year. Milligan’s presence has led to speculation that things are getting serious.

While Austrians were no doubt very happy for the visit from one of their favorite native sons on hand, they were beyond thrilled when Hannes Reichelt won the World Cup downhill, beating the favorites: Norway’s Aksel Lund Svindal, who came in second. Bode Miller (USA) came in third. It was Austria’s first win in 8 years. Reichelt said, “For an Austrian, I don’t think there’s a better emotion and a stronger feeling than winning in Kitzbuehel.”

As for the Governator, we’ll be seeing more of “Arnie” next weekend in a Bud Light Superbowl commercial.
