Rocky: 1976 Best Picture

“Rocky” won the Best Picture Oscar at the 49th Academy Awards, beating “All the President’s Men”, “Network”, “Bound for Glory”, and “Taxi Driver.” John G. Avildsen also won Best Director for “Rocky.”

“Rocky” and “Network” had 10 nominations each and “All the President’s Men” had 8, but the latter two took home the most Oscars (4 each), while the only other win for “Rocky” was for Best Film Editing.
