Richard Hatch Sentenced to 9 Months

Too bad Donald Trump didn’t fire Richard Hatch and keep David Cassidy around a little while. Hatch will still be on the show, since it’s already “in the can,” but it’s going to be weird after tomorrow’s episode, if Hatch is still around.

Hatch is going to be “in the can” too after Monday, March 14th. He’ll have to begin serving a 9-month jail sentence that U.S. District Court Judge William Smith feels will teach Richard to pay his taxes.

The winner of the first season of “Survivor,” Hatch was in prison before for tax evasion to the tune of three years plus. But he didn’t learn his lesson at all. The Hollywood Reporter says that Hatch, who is under supervised release, was supposed to file new returns and pay his tax bills from 2001 and 2001, but he didn’t do it.

Now that the IRS has him in the tax vortex, Richard Hatch owes them something like $2 million dollars.
