Oprah’s Generous 10G Bonus

Oprah Winfrey helped her staff celebrate the 10th anniversary of O! Magazine on June 16th in that big big “Oprah giveaway” way. She gave each person on her staff a check for 10 grand AND an Apple iPad!

The NY Post says the number of staffers isn’t known. You didn’t have to be on Team O the whole 10 years to get the bonus either, everyone got a check and an iPad.

Remember all those cars she gave her studio audience and how they were provided by the advertiser? It’s also not known whether Apple provided the iPads to Oprah gratis, but if she can afford to shell out 10 grand to each member of the staff, she can afford to spring for the iPads.

Remember how she gave her buddy Gail a cool million AND paid the gift tax for Gail?
