Nathan Lee Parada was charged today with trying to break into Paris Hilton’s Beverly Hills home on Tuesday. The 31 year old Redlands man has been charged with one felony count of attempted residential burglary with a person present. Do you think he had a clue that person who was present — Paris Hilton — had the ability to let over 2.5 million people know, not including the police, what he was up with just one little tweet?
You picked the wrong house to mess with, Nathan. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in a Van Nuys courtroom and is being held on $50,000 bail.
Parada was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and was allegedly carrying two knives, per Paris Hilton’s tweet:
“”So scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes (sic).”
If convicted, as they say, ol’ Nathan is going to the slammer. Max he can get is six years in state prison. We’d rather say “when convicted,” though. What defense can your attorney come up with when you are caught in flagrante delicto and your evil-doings are documented in a photograph and a tweet right when it is happening?
