Melissa Molinaro: I’m No Kim Kardashian Impersonator

Melissa Molinaro doesn’t think that she looks like Kim Kardashian but everyone else does.

“To me it’s extremely flattering. She is a beautiful woman…That’s an amazing compliment,” the singer and actress told E! in an exclusive interview.

Melissa even proved that the casting call she answered was not looking for a Kim Kardashian clone, reading from the email she received from her agent, which called for “a true dance pop superstar.”

All this attention and Kim comparisons have pretty much blown the Canadian-born singer, actress and dancer’s mind especially since she says she’s been compared to Eva Longoria, Nicole Sherzinger, Fergie and Vanessa Marcil, but rarely to Kim Kardashian up until now. Must be dying the old hair black, because there’s a bunch of photos where Melissa has brown hair where she doesn’t look like such a dead ringer for Kim K.

Melissa has her own website and has had her own page on wikipedia for quite some time. A page was created for her in 2007 but it was nominated for deletion and subsequently was taken down. Her current page has been there since 2008.

Melissa told E! that being a Kim Kardashian impersonator is not in her game plan. “You’re not going to find me at a Bar Mitzvah or a communion or someone’s birthday doing that,” she said.
