LSU Fires Les Miles After Losing to Auburn; Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Stanford Keep Winning

LSU coach Les Miles came close to being fired after last season, but kept his job. The calls for his head began immediately this season following a season opening loss to Wisconsin. LSU then beat Jacksonville State and Mississippi State to get back on track. But the end of the line for Miles came after the Tigers lost to Auburn 18-13 on September 24th. Miles’ job may have been a second or two away from being spared, but officials ruled that an apparent touchdown scoring play by LSU occurred after time expired.

Wisconsin is in a brutal part of its schedule. The Badgers will play at #4 Michigan on Saturday, and will host #2 Ohio State on October 15th.
