Lindsay Lohan’s $860,000 Fee Rejected by Russian Talk Show

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lindsay Lohan won’t be appearing on the Russian talk show “Pust govoryat” (translation: Let Them Talk) because she made a series of demands that the producers decided were just unreasonable.

Lohan demanded a fee of $860,000 fee as well as a full security team and a paid-up suite at the Ritz Carlton. She also stipulated that the network could not interview a number of people, including her former Russian flame, Ego Tarabasov for a specified time period. The show’s host, Andry Malkhov, claims that Lohan also demanded a meeting with Vladimir Putin, and he wondered what she wanted to talk to the Russian president about.

We wondered what the Russian talk show wanted to talk to Lindsay Lohan about and we also wondered how she and/or her agents came up with the $860,000 price tag. It reminded us of this clip from the 1988 movie “Coming to America,” where Arsenio Hall as Semmi is sending a telegram to King Joffe Jaffar for more money– why not go for a cool million?

Maybe with the suite at the Ritz-Carlton and security costs, it comes out to that.

This matter of Lindsay Lohan’s “demands” in order for her to appear on Channel One would not be a public discussion, if a local Russian tabloid (that goes by the URL, Life_dot_ru) hadn’t “intercepted” Lindsay’s lawyer’s contract that was en route to Channel One! And unless this was a “planned interception” by Life_dot_ru visa vie Lindsay (et al!)… and, in that event, it’s her call to make!
