Lady Gaga Waxed: Fans Can Help With Fashion Picks

Madame Tussauds will be featuring Lady Gaga in several locations, but how many Gagas will there really be? Many articles are quoting a London paper as saying that Madame Tussaud’s will be spending a million and a half on Lady Gaga wax figures in 10 different poses at 10 different locations.

MTV spoke to a representative of the New York branch of Madame Tussauds to confirm this, and was told that the Times Square tourist attraction will have their own Lady Gaga and it may even be on display by the end of this year.

The spokesman also said that fans can weigh in on Lady Gaga’s figure: “We’re open to hearing from fans about which looks they want,” the spokesman. Fans and “little monsters” can visit www.NYCWax.com to weigh in on which of Gaga’s many signature styles they would like to see immortalized in wax. (I just checked and couldn’t find it yet).

The spokesperson had no comment on the London report about the exorbitant cost of the project, but did say that but not all nine global outlets will get their own Gaga.

Lady Gaga will join other legendary pop icons such as Madonna, Beyoncé, The Beatles, Elvis, James Brown and Michael Jackson and many others.
