Shia LaBeouf now regrets running his mouth about “a brief fling” he had with his co-star, Megan Fox, on the set of Transformers. Shia got a little too free with details in his interview with Details magazine. How funny is that? But later, at the premiere of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” the actor told Access Hollywood it happened because he’s so young. Not the fling, the blabbing.
“I just turned 25 [on June 11] and I’m learning how to edit myself and say no comment now.”
That’s nice but the August cover story of Details will still contain what he said before he learned that.

“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” Shia said, “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
Apparently he realized his faux pas when he was asked if Megan was with the boyfriend who is now her husband, Brian Austin Green, at the time. Shia got very flustered and kept repeating: “I don’t know, man. I don’t know ….” He said “I don’t know” 12 times, then added the ubiquitous: “It was what it was.”
Indeed it was and it may be the last fling he ever has now that the ladies know he can’t be trusted to be discreet.
As for Megan, being that she is about a month older [May 16] than Shia, she already knows enough to have a rep say no comment.
What does “rooting to be atracted” to someone mean anyway?
